Can we just take a moment to appreciate this mama-to-be's swoon worthy maternity session?? I feel like she just stepped out of the pages of an editorial. The natural light studio played nicely while the weather was stormy and nasty outside. My favorite was the combination of the feathered layered ruffled skirt from Calypso and the textured fur vest. I wish I was that fabulous when I was pregnant! :) Which one is your favorite look?

Remember them? Longboards and pillow fights in the Presidio!! (if not, you can check out their seriously fun engagement session here) They enjoyed an intimate wedding in my hometown, Las Vegas. I want a pair of custom kicks for myself now! I also want to just do a lantern lighting and send off just for fun. :)
Glad I got to spend Valentine's photographing all the love <3

Bold and edgy boudoir ideas for a session. I generally like starting my sessions off soft and natural, then progress to a more bold look by the end of the shoot. What do you think? Would you rock something bold like this for fun?
It started with a latte. No, seriously. They met for the first time at a coffee shop in Oakland that quickly turned into a magical Happy Hour date with sweet potato fries and great conversation. (I already love them for this) Besides selecting the chapel at Oakland Mills College, they had so many special moments for their ceremony. Destiny Muhammed blessed the guests with her gracious (& badass) harp skills. She serenaded the processional with her version of India Arie's Ready for Love and it was amazing. Another one of the girls read from The Alchemist (posted below) that touched the hearts of everyone. The ceremony commenced with the traditional of Jumping the Broom and a sweet kiss to kick off their new life together.
I am so honored and blessed to have taken part in such a special occasion.
Congratulations to Channa & Jason.
