Rob & Des//From Australia to SF//San Francisco Elopement Photographer
Des-and-Rob-SF-Wedding-123.jpg

Vintage muscle cars & Australian accents. Two seriously amazing things that made this day a lot of fun! Rob & Des had a month long holiday travelling the United States. One of the pit stops was to San Francisco, for a romantic and fun wedding. We started off with me getting some time in with the girls doing hair & makeup at the Orchard Garden Hotel. From there, my assistant Heidi & I hopped into our Lyft and met the Camaro & Roadrunner to the Ferry Building & Chrissy Fields for some portraits around the city. My friend Ehvan (the videographer that made the video on my website) shot all the video footage of the day. I will update with the link once that is posted :)

For now, enjoy! Congratulations Rob, Des & Kyle. I hope you enjoyed your stay!

Celebrate Life Portrait Sessions//Now is Always the Time//SF Family Photographer

Dedicated to Janina.

This week I lost a friend & a client. It was tough to swallow the bad news. It was surreal since we had just spent an afternoon photographing her son's high school senior portraits. We laughed that she got out of a speeding ticket on her way to meet me. We rocked my first ever senior boy session and left with great big hugs and plans for future sessions.

Had I known it would be my last time getting to hear her loud Latina laugh I would've taken more than 4 pictures of her with Jairo. I should've ignored her request to not have her in the pictures because her hair wasn't done. I should've taken some of her hugging her kids. I should've should've should've.....

Thank you, Janina for your friendship & inspiration.

I've decided to start a portrait project. Celebrate Life.

A very last minute request, and I am so happy I was available to witness Erika & Chris' Golden Gate Park wedding under the Pagoda. Yes, we were attracting tourists and even a random harnessed cat that wanted in on the action! It was a chilly and foggy morning, but I love the way the light surrounds them and the beautiful garden. After the ceremony we headed over to Shakespeare Garden, contemplated crashing a wedding, but opted for adventures around the Golden Gate Park concourse area. The details: Her dress (& his fedora) came from a cute vintage shop in their hometown in Traverse City, Michigan.  Not to worry, I will find out who made her dress! Her ring was designed from a mold of a twig and set with a pearl. On her other hand she wore a vintage ring her grandmother (or was it great-grandmother?) hand painted. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Congratulations Erika & Chris! Ceremony

I just have to say I was slightly nervous going into this. You see, I normally photograph women, very feminine and girly with tutus and tulle. I've known Janina and her family since Jairo was in the 1st grade, so I knew I had to take the challenge and photograph a boy! Well, he's not exactly a boy anymore. He's grown into a man that his mama is proud of.

Congratulations Jairo, good luck to you on your next step. :)
