I can't even take their cuteness. Under that pretty vintage-ish dress she rocked a pair of Vans with her "heels just ain't gonna happen" attitude. She made a cute little box to hold their rings. It was quaint, it was intimate and it was a special ceremony. Yes, I had to boot some people out of my shot with my kind "I am NOT photoshopping you out later, so just move" look. Politely, of course!

I've shot many weddings at Golden Gate Park, and this was my first at the Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden. We got lucky with no rain, just a little San Francisco fog for their wedding day.

A typical San Francisco morning, foggy but full of character. Luckily it burned off by the time we headed to the Palace of Fine Arts. We are so lucky to have such amazing locations in SF for couples to get married at. Her Something Old were carefully inserted into her bouquet. They were pieces from Ernie's grandmother's sewing kit. His sister handmade their bouquet, and all the little details with it. I love handmade wedding stuff!

We started our morning by calling the wrong number and alerting some gentleman on the phone that "I'm downstairs". Yeah, not creepy at all right? Besides that little mishap Esme and I began our morning shooting the the Wyndham Canterbury. I did her hair & makeup, while Esme shot all the cute little details. I am seriously thinking I may need a random set of tic tac toe for my house.

I love when I get to do my bride's hair & makeup. It gives us plenty of time to warm up to each other, crack a few jokes and set the pace for the day.

We headed off to Golden Gate Park for them to get hitched by the waterfall. It's such a sweet and romantic spot. for an intimate wedding.

I'm back from Yosemite, and catching up on life! Here are a few more from the cutest "let's get married in a meadow" couple I've ever met. You kind of know it's going to be a great day when you connect with your couples. It could've been that he's also half Filipino, and she's honorary, or the fact they made a Twilight in the meadow reference. I recently have found myself obsessed with these Finao albums. At first I was overwhelmed with the amount of cover options and page options that it turned me away. Then I realized that I was being slightly boring. What if my clients want something different that not everyone has? Isn't that how we express our style?

Well, I just walked in the door...Mr. Fed ex just delivered these. Some are for clients, but this giant 10x10 purple beast (Queen for a Day, I think is the technical name) made my heart stop. It's gorgeous, suede and pretty much badass. I will be showcasing this one at The Romancer Wedding Show on March 10th. Hopefully it'll attract somebody bold and daring ;)
