PORTRAIT FAQs

1. Do we get the digitals? 

Yes, each collection includes complimentary digital jpegs that you can use to share online. The high resolution digitals are available to purchase or included in a couple of the collections.

2. Do you offer albums and wall portraits?

Yes! We have pre-made collections or you can create your own collection.

We are a full service photography studio. We meet for a pre-consultation to help you plan out how the final images will be arranged on your walls or printed. After the session we will do an in person reveal and ordering session to help you select which images go best together.

3. How long does it take to get the images back?

Once your order is completed and delivered, you will receive a link with a PIN number for you to download and share your digitals. 

Albums and other product turnaround time vary, so an estimated delivery time will be quoted at time of purchase. Please let us know if you need items back by a certain date.

4. How long does the session last?

I don't set an exact timer on sessions because each family is different. I am experienced and can work quickly to try and avoid any meltdowns or cranky husbands (kidding!).

Family sessions, allot at least 30-60 minutes.

Newborn sessions, allow for extra time for feeding, diaper changes or unexpected blow outs.

5. How far in advance should I book?

Family or Senior Sessions, give yourself at least 2-4 weeks out to give yourself enough time for outfit planning/shopping, hair & nail appointments etc...

Maternity is best photographed around 34 weeks. Anything past that and you risk discomfort or early labor before you have a chance to see your proofs :)

Newborn is ideal to photograph 10 days or sooner from birth. After that, they are less squishy and moldable. 

6. What should we wear?

It depends on your family's personality, the location we are shooting at and time of year. Once we figure out all those goodies, I can provide better recommendations. All of this will be discussed at the pre-consultation.

7. Do you travel?

Yes, for the most part I'm in Northern & Southern California and Las Vegas. I am available to travel for events. If I am unavailable, I can assign an associate shooter to your event.
